Great playing and tones from everybody. It keeps a nice sparse, live feel to the music instead of over producing the sound and I like that. It's often easy to keep overdubbing more parts and you end up losing a sense of the individual players. Well done.

"Static Sculpture" has a maturity that makes it timeless. Erickson's very original compositions are full of life and spirit. His playing excites but is always tasteful and never "over the top".

Static Sculpture is a fine example of Cliff's work ethic which I have witnessed working with him several years ago. He is a true sculptor who has the patience to polish and rearrange sounds until they become emotionally intense and intellectually stimulating. An amazing piece of work.
